At least 24 hours prior to treatment, it is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption and the use of blood thinners such as aspirin, ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medications to reduce the risk of bruising and swelling. It is advisable not to undergo chemical peels, laser treatments or other invasive procedures that may irritate the skin for several days prior to hyaluronic acid application. The treatment should not be performed if there is active inflammation, infection or herpes in the area of application.
