At least 2–3 days before the procedure, avoid medications and supplements that thin the blood (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen, omega-3, vitamin E), unless prescribed by your doctor—this will reduce the risk of bruising. The day before the treatment, limit alcohol and intense physical activity. Come to your appointment with clean skin, free of makeup and without any active inflammation (e.g., cold sores, acne) in the treatment area. If you are taking any medications, have any health concerns, or have recently undergone another cosmetic procedure, please let us know during your consultation.
As we age, collagen levels decline and the face gradually loses its support—the cheeks sag, the cheekbones become less prominent, the jawline weakens, and nasolabial folds deepen. Radiesse® addresses the cause, not just the symptom: in addition to providing immediate volume restoration, it stimulates the production of the body’s own collagen, so the skin continues to firm up for several months after treatment.

This treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, in cases of active infection or inflammation at the injection site, in cases of blood clotting disorders, a tendency to develop keloid scars, or an allergy to any of the product’s ingredients. Radiesse® is not injected into the lips or the area around the eyes. A doctor will determine the suitability of the treatment during a personal consultation.
The treatment is preceded by a consultation during which the doctor evaluates the face and proposes a personalized plan. The skin is thoroughly cleansed and disinfected. The product is applied with a cannula into the deeper layers of the skin, and the doctor then gently contours it. After the treatment, avoid saunas, intense exercise, and facial massages for 24–48 hours.
A subtle increase in volume is visible immediately after the treatment. Over the following weeks, the skin gradually firms up and the facial contours appear more defined—the results develop over approximately 2–3 months and typically last 12–18 months. After the procedure, mild swelling, redness, or a slight bruise may occur, but these usually subside within a few days.
The treatment is very well tolerated. Radiesse® contains lidocaine, which takes effect during the procedure, and thanks to thorough preparation and careful use of the cannula, you will feel only mild pressure.
