24 hours before the procedure, it is recommended to avoid alcohol and excessive physical exertion. The skin must be free of inflammation, acne or infections (e.g. herpes). It is not recommended to apply make-up at the site of application on the day of treatment and an anesthetic cream should be applied 30 - 60 minutes prior to the procedure for maximum comfort.

The procedure itself begins with a consultation with the doctor, who will assess the condition of the skin and recommend an appropriate course of action. Before the application, an anaesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area for about 30-60 minutes. Juvéderm Volite is applied by a series of gentle microinjections into the middle layer of the skin using very fine needles. The whole process takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes, and after it is finished, the skin may be slightly red or swollen, or small bruises may appear. These symptoms are short-lived and usually disappear within a few days.
Visible improvement in skin quality - skin will be deeply hydrated, softer to the touch, more supple and overall more radiant. Fine lines and dryness are gradually reduced, while the result looks very natural, without adding volume or altering facial features. The effect begins to show within a few days after the procedure and can last 6 to 9 months, even up to a year for some clients.
No - Juvéderm Volite contains lidocaine (a local anaesthetic) which makes application comfortable. Thin needles are used and the procedure is well tolerated, with clients feeling only a gentle pinch or pressure.
